Plant the Seed to Read Event April 5

Please join us at the 2nd annual Youngstown Bookfair at the education center at Fellows Riverside Gardens Saturday, April 5 from 10 am - 4pm.

First Book- Mahoning Valley will be on hand to distribute 1000 books (1 each) to children who visit our table at the event. Adults can take this time as an opportunity to register for our May fundraising event:

Register for $25 and receive 1 adult ticket to the play following the Speed Read event.
Additional tickets available for purchase at time of registration.
Every child at the performance will receive a Frog and Toad book to start their personal library at home.
Register now and
help give new books to children!
Readers will collect pledges and bring them to the
Speed Read. Each reader will have 15 seconds to read a passage as quickly as they can.
